MARO is the statewide network of mission driven organizations promoting community access and inclusion for people with disabilities and other barriers.

MARO members help thousands of residents all across Michigan to live, work, and play in the community.

MARO Members Provide:
Employment Services, Job Placement, Job Coaching, Business Services, Skill Building, Self Employment and Micro-Enterprise Development, School-To-Work Transition, Mental Health Services, Supports Coordination, Autism Supports, Peer Mentoring, Community Living Supports, Residential, Transportation, Arts and Recreation, Clubhouse, Respite Care.

MARO provides a variety of education and training sessions addressing current trends and practices in the field of rehabilitation. Recent topics have included Job Development & Coaching, Benefits Planning and Coordination, Micro-Enterprise Development, CARF Standards, and Wage & Hour Compliance. The Association holds an annual Spring Leadership Conference and is the co-sponsor and manager of re:con – the convention of new beginnings.
