2019 Spring Leadership Conference, Sapphire Anniversary
This year, MARO will celebrate its 45th Anniversary! Incorporated in 1974, MARO has grown and evolved over time to represent a diverse group of mission driven organizations, both public and private sector. Our members serve individuals and families with a broad range of barriers, and provide a wide array of supports to achieve optimal independence and inclusion. As we acknowledge our past, we also look forward with a strategic vision for our future as a statewide network – and we hope you can join us for the Sapphire Celebration in Traverse City, June 5-7 at the Park Place hotel.
The program this year includes topics on Non-profit Landscape, Employment Law, Rate Restructuring, Current Political and Policy Updates, Regional Workforce Initiatives, state VR Update, Direct Care Staffing Dilemma, and Provider Transformation. All at the Park Place Hotel right in Downtown Traverse City.
